We visited a few weeks ago and some houses and buildings showed the after effects of hurricanes Ida (2021) and Laura (2020). The people of that venerable city are resilient, perhaps more so than any other place in America. Our hearts are with them. Pictured are scenes across New Orleans, specifically the amazing band that plays every single day beside the Cafe Du Monde. #neworleans #cafedumonde #resilience #weareneworleans #neworleansstrong💪

About a year ago my husband and I found an amazing About a year ago my husband and I found an amazing collection of postcards from WWI. Included were several beautifully colored prints from France. This one depicts a French girl showing her patriotism by reverently holding a large portrait of the Chief of the French Army, Marshal Foch. The red, white and blue colors of the French flag are striking. #wwi #oldpostcards #worldhistory
This is Richard Allen and Leona (Howell) Spencer a This is Richard Allen and Leona (Howell) Spencer and their children around 1922 or 1923, most likely in Cove Arkansas, where they lived at the time. Richard, who was known as “Allie,” is holding one of the twins Lucille and Lucy. Dorothy, born in 192, had yet to arrive. The oldest child, Ethel is next to her mother, followed by Ellis, my grandfather. I think Thomas Earl is the front left followed by James Everett, Earnest Edwin and Eula. This photo was corrected, enhanced and colorized using the tools at MyHeritage.com. Their faces are considerably more distinct than the before photo. #myheritagephotoenhancer #myheritage #genealogy #familyhistory
